Apex Anima & FRZNTE

In their joint Commissioned Work for Pop-Kultur, musician and visual artist Apex Anima joines pole performer and DJ FRZNTE to perform at the Maschinenhaus. As Apex Anima, Andrea Einarsdóttir will debut some of her most recent electronic pop gems, collected on her far-reaching, inter-dimensional road trips and mined with careful ethereal labour. FRZNTE combines pole-dancing with tech-noir aesthetics, creating a dream-like visual experience based on the human body and empowerment. The two artists merge the ethereal with the physical, the platonic with the erotic, the static with the acrobatic in their highly energetic and stimulating audio-visual show. The hybrid approach of the seemingly disparate artists is heightened even further: ethereal music meets levitation art, enraptured sounds meet physical expression.
