»Art and Music in Times of Crisis«

Dr. Nicole Bührsch, Max Gruber, Milena Fessmann, Pamela Schobeß & Wieland Krämer

A little virus is turning the world upside-down. Especially affected: everyone who earns a living by getting as many people as possible into one room. Max Gruber, better known as Drangsal, is one of countless musicians dependent on performing live. Clubcommission Berlin chair Pamela Schobeß still doesn’t know when her club, GRETCHEN, will be able to open again. And as a booking agent, Powerline Agency co-founder Wieland Krämer is doomed to twiddle his thumbs. Art and music in times of crisis – not as romantic as it sounds. Joining these three will be music consultant, radio presenter and DJ Milena Fessmann to discuss these issues, as well as previous failures and possible approaches for individual musicians and the industry as a whole. And, since the crisis is not only an economic and artistic one, the conversation is expanded with input from qualified psychologist and psychological psychotherapist Dr. Nicole Bührsch of the Fliedner Klinik Berlin.
