Philipp Thimm

Ellen Allien, Haftbefehl, Kraftklub, Mark Forster and Tim Bendzko don’t seem to have much in common, except one thing: they all have Philipp Thimm’s number saved on speed dial. The cellist and electric guitarist has been on the road from one studio to the next since 2008, still doing a number of live concerts on the way. One of his main collaborators is Sascha Ring, participating as an instrumental and production partner the Apparat theatre soundtracks »War and Peace« and »Demons.« The always-moving musician and composer has now written the score for Pop-Kultur’s show formats.
