Tara Nome Doyle: »Hall of Mirrors«

On her debut album »Alchemy,« Tara Nome Doyle already dealt with the theories of the psychiatrist Carl Jung, and now, in her commissioned work for Pop-Kultur, she’s going even further. Doyle has devised her performance on Jung’s division of the human personality into »persona« on the one hand and »shadow« on the other, singing one half of her new songs in falsetto, the other with her chest voice. Surrounded by a cabinet of mirrors, she illuminates and explores the opposing concepts.
