THF Radio is a community radio station based in the Torhaus of Berlin’s former Tempelhof Airport. As part of Pop-Kultur, its crew will set up shop at the Kulturbrauerei’s PANDA theatre to broadcast a programme during the festival, initiating a productive process of relearning. How can pop music and club culture catalyse emancipatory power? What are their potentials and limits? Collectives and artists will discuss their projects that question, or even overcome, the discrimination and other hurdles they face in their cultural and social work. Just as in THF Radio’s usual studio, a wide variety of people, topics, issues and ideas will come together and be explored with curiosity and criticism. Tune in – to one another.
