Warning

The Warning collective was founded in 2016 in Berlin and Mülheim an der Ruhr with the idea of creating a unique event bringing together various collectives from Germany and France. Through progressive networking beyond the borders of Europe, something developed that can best be described as a social and creative platform for collaboration among different collectives, labels, clubs and individuals. Warning’s work for Pop-Kultur also ties in with this. It consists of four audiovisual pieces that have been created independently from one another by different artists and with the help of different techniques. The work presented on the website of the collective at warning.berlin deconstructs and abstracts the theme of solidarity. Each of the four groups is given a building block: SO, LIT, ARI and TY. The possibilities of reference are manifold and can process points of connection in the means used, the generic term of solidarity or even one’s own associations to each respective building block.

Funded by the Senate Department for Culture and Europe of the State of Berlin with funds from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in the programme »Strengthening the Potential for Innovation in Culture II (INP II).«
