Wild Classical Music Ensemble

Rarely has noise been more enchanting! The Wild Classical Music Ensemble from Belgium navigates an unprecedented sound odyssey with an inclusive band. A unique hybrid of new music, free jazz, punk, rock and noise. Back in 2007, the Brussels sound artist and drummer Damien Magnette met four visual artists in the Flemish town of Kortrijk and together, they founded one of the first inclusive bands in the world. What started as an experiment in free musical improvisation soon took a very particular direction, thanks to guitarist Kim Verbeke’s punk and rock riffs. Later, Sébastien Faidherbe joined and made the group a sextet, offering an even more energetic touch. Since then, they have released several records, most recently »Tout va bien se passer / Het komt allemaal wel goed« in 2019. After numerous stops at international festivals, they can finally be seen live again in Berlin.
