#PK21 – Commissioned Works: We present the official documentation!
The Commissioned Works are specially made for the festival. They give artists the chance to work intensively on a theme of their own choice and to expand their usual working processes with regard to performative approaches. The Commissioned Work documentary features four of this year’s artists talking about their work and how they experienced it in the context of the festival.
Discovery Zone led the audience on a journey through her own memories, dreams and texts with the help of a special 3D projection screen, Tara Nome Doyle explored the theories of psychiatrist C.G. Jung and conducted a dialogue between shadow and persona, ILYICH and Grounded Outer Space People explored holistic dimensions through sound, rhythm and elements of visual art, while Sofia Portanet (re)contextualised her debut album »Freier Geist« in a theatrical production.
In interviews and footage from production and performance, the video gives a vivid impression of the respective acts and their work, which you should keep an eye on in the future.
