Squizzy P

Squizzy P is an artist and illustrator who mostly works with his finger directly on a touchscreen – digital in the truest sense of the word. This is also how his social-media project for Pop-Kultur has been conceived, which exploits the possibilities of digital realm as an artistic-communicative space of possibility. Patrick Vollrath’s fingers are guided by the ideas of the audience, who are confronted with different settings via the festival’s various channels, contributing ideas for their embellishment. The results are collaborative works that the graphic designer – who has a degree in art and contemporary design – fuses into lively collages. The result is a creative, collaborative and above all collective project. Open in all directions, it knows neither a fixed beginning nor a predefined end. Digital art, in the truest sense of the word.
