Studio 21

Studio 21 is a festival within a festival, curated by the RambaZamba Theater and featuring performances by inclusive bands as well as theatrical and immersive productions in cooperation with Pop-Kultur. These will be complemented with a diverse musical workshop program. In addition to sets by 21 Downbeat, blind & lame, Choolers Division, Dain Fadinzt, Station 17, Stille Vann and Wild Classical Music Ensemble, the eponymous club will be the centerpiece of Studio 21. It is by and for people with disabilities: from the bouncers to the DJs to the bar staff, all key positions will be inclusive. This has never happened before, not even in the club capital of Berlin. Studio 21 is demonstrating how diverse and innovative the city’s contemporary inclusive music scene is, highlighting the importance of making it seen and, above all, heard. Over these three days, music becomes a door opener towards full, effectual and equal participation in society.

Studio 21 is a production of the RambaZamba Theater in cooperation with Pop-Kultur 2021.

Supported by funding from the Capital Cultural Fund and from the State of Berlin, Senate Department for Culture and Europe.

Patron: Prof. Monika Grütters, Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media.
