Music brings people together, and that’s exactly what festivals thrive on: gathering around a shared experience. Now, however, the COVID-19 pandemic has shaken our foundations. A good reason and occasion to collect new artistic approaches that rethink a global and a local togetherness. In this year’s edition of Pop-Kultur, 36 audio-visual works from around the world will be compiled into three feature-length shows, a kind of supercut of perspectives. They will be made available to stream from the 26th to the 28th of August each evening at 20:20. After their premiere, each individual contribution will also be available to watch in full-length in the media library at our website.
