Flockey Ocscor: »4 Walls«

Flockey Ocscor is a dancer, choreographer, videographer and spoken word performer. With his commissioned work for Pop-Kultur, he brings together all these different yet interconnected fields of activity: In »4 Walls,« various situations that have had a personal impact on him in recent months get interpreted artistically. From deep, sad thoughts to the longing for joy, peace and freedom beyond his own four walls. Accompanied by plenty of music and dance, he will express all this at the Palais with rap and spoken word, locking and freestyle. During the performance, various film sequences will be interspersed – scenes that correspond in visuals and body language with the piece and the music it contains. »4 Walls« also promises to be a musical and aesthetic cross-section of the last five decades, from James Brown to D’Angelo and beyond.
